Our Ingredients

This page lists the ingredients of the edible sugar paper and printing inks used in our decorations. The components used depend on the product and design. See the product page for ingredient and allergen information for that item.

Edible sugar paper

Ingredients: Acetylated distarch adipate, maltodextrin, glycerin, sugar, water, distarch phosphate, calcium carbonate, dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, acacia gum, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monostearate, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, sorbitan monostearate, potassium sorbate, xanthan gum, artificial flavours, citric acid.

Our edible sugar paper is made without titanium dioxide (E171). Its use as a food additive has been prohibited in the European Union since 2022.

Edible printing inks

We print directly on cookies, with or without icing, and on edible sugar paper. Printed sugar paper is used in lollipops and selected meringues. Depending on the design, one or more of the following four ink colours may be used.

Black

Ingredients: Water, ethanol, glycerin (humectant), allura red, brilliant blue FCF, polysorbate 80, erythrosine, tartrazine.

Cyan

Ingredients: Water, ethanol, glycerin (humectant), brilliant blue FCF, polysorbate 80.

Magenta

Ingredients: Water, ethanol, glycerin (humectant), erythrosine, polysorbate 80, allura red, brilliant blue FCF.

Yellow

Ingredients: Water, ethanol, glycerin (humectant), tartrazine, polysorbate 80.

Allergen information: The printing inks may contain traces of soy and milk.
